Coordinators


Greg Reinhard - Having 6 years of professional baseball experience, Greg will be a part of all  aspects of the organization.  Besides being the Director of Operations, Reinhard will also be the  Pitching Coordinator for the whole RiverCat Organization, working on developing the skills  and fundamentals of the pitchers in the organization.  In the winter season, Reinhard is the  head coach for the U18 GRB Rays team.  Prior to the expansion of the whole system, Reinhard  created and built the GRB Academy, and in 2010 began running the Rock River youth Fall  Baseball League.  Reinhard will be present in the teaching of each age level, making sure  pitchers are on the right track to developing into successful high school and college pitchers.

John Cottrell - Creating the Wisconsin RiverCats in 2004, John has established the top  quality  playing and learning environment for amateur players looking to enhance their baseball  game  and get themselves to the next level.  John is involved in much of the behind the scenes  work for  the RiverCats.  With his experience in the youth baseball scene, John coordinates most  of the  tournament schedules, and team procedures.  Also, Cottrell is the Wisconsin State  Director for CABA – Continental Amateur Baseball Association, which is one of the top  comparative youth organizations in the country.  John is the original creator of the Wisconsin  RiverCats, starting the original team in 2004 when his son, Patrick, was at the U12 age level.

Greg Fetherston- Back coaching varsity baseball in his hometown of Jefferson,  WI, Fetherston brings years of baseball coaching and playing experience.  Fetherston was an  All- Conference player in the 90′s for Wisconsin-Whitewater as well as the team captain, and  since then has won conference and regional championships with Jefferson High School.    Coach Fetherston has developed collegiate and professional players in his coaching days.  Greg  will serve as the Infield Coordinator for the RiverCat system, as well as coaching the U10  Summer RiverCats and the U13 Winter RiverCats.  Coach Fetherston is a school teacher in the Jefferson School District.

Aaron Guilbault- Having caught as a starter for three years and catching 4 professional  pitchers at Whitewater, Aaron brings what catchers are notorious for: knowing the game  of baseball and controlling the game.  Guilbault has been a coach at the GRB Academy for four  years, and will be the Catching Coordinator for the RiverCat Organization.  Aaron will also be a  winter coach for the 2010-11 winter season.  Aaron led the Warhawks to the 2005  National Championship, was an All-Conference and All-Region selection, and hit .375 with 11  Home Runs in 51 games behind the dish.  Guilbault, besides his catching coordination, offers players the chance to work to improve their hitting.  Guilbault is both the catching and hitting coordinator for the GRB Academy.

Max Cordio – Ending his four year career in 2009 for the Warhawks, Max has jumped right  into coaching since his playing days.  Max stayed in his hometown of Whitewater to attend the  University after high school, and since then has been working with kids to improve their games.  Max serves as the U18 Summer Coach for the GRB Rays  and  their showcase schedule, and also    this year has taken the role as head coach for the  freshman program at Jefferson High School.    has worked at the GRB Academy for two  years, and his coaching breadth has range as Max was  both an infielder and outfielder in his  playing days.  Max will also be coaching on e of the Winter levels.

Bob Zweifel – Coach “Z” brings his four decades of coaching baseball, including Jefferson High School before Coach Fetherston took over at the varsity position.  Coach “Z” brings discipline and fundamental play to the RiverCats.  This past year, Zweifel led the Jefferson VFW Teener team to a state championship, the first state championship in his long career.  “Z” has worked with young baseball players for countless years, and continues to do so after his retirement from teaching.

Ben Prather – Prather brings collegiate and professional experience to the RiverCat  Organization, both in playing and coaching.  Ben was an All-Conference and All-Region player  for UW-Whitewater, a two way player as a pitcher and an outfielder, and played in the college  world series.  After his collegiate career, Ben went to play for the Vindija Baseball Club in the  Croatian Baseball League.  While there, Prather led the Vindija club to their first ever league  championship, and also helped coach and develop baseball in Croatia by helping youth  players in camps run by the team.  Prather is now a student assistant for the Whitewater  Warhawks.  Ben brings his experience as a left handed pitcher and as an All-Region hitter to the RiverCat Organization.

Aaron Dott – Dott left UW-Whitewater early after being drafted by the Tampa Bay Rays in the    2009 MLB Amateur Draft.  Dott is pursuing the big leagues while helping coach at the GRB  Academy in the off season.  While at Whitewater, Dott was an All-Conference selection in 2008  and 2009, an All-Region selection in 2009,  and led  the Warhawks to the college world series.  He  currently is in the top 10 of several career statistical categories for the university.  Being a left  handed pitcher, Aaron can help develop  lefties that pitch for the RiverCats.  Dott can help young  players with mechanics, and as players get older and are ready to develop off speed pitchers,  Aaron is very good with breaking balls and changeups.

Adam Dominick – Dominick was the 2008 WIAC Conference Pitcher of the Year, and after  his collegiate days has played professionally for the Midwest Sliders and the Windy City  Thunderbolts of the Frontier League.  Dominick brings all of that experience to the  organization where he can help pitchers with developing.  Besides his pitching expertise,  Dominick is a strength and conditioning coach, having worked at Nx Level in Waukesha.      Dominick has also worked at the GRB Academy for three years.  Along with those duties, Adam will make sure the warm up and conditioning portion of the organization is proper for the development of the players.

Bryant Ganser – Ganser was a member of the UW-Whitewater Warhark program before  injuries shortened his collegiate career and cost him his senior year.  Ganser, a Jefferson  native, has worked at the GRB Academy, and is very skilled at explaining and relating material  to young pitchers and players.  Ganser will be a part of the summer coaching staff for 2011 for  one of the RiverCat age levels.
