2011 13U Winter RiverCats

The winter program for the U13 age level is to provide winter baseball to the advanced player who looks to play competitive baseball during the traditional Wisconsin offseason.  By utilizing indoor facilities to practice, and traveling to southern and western U.S. climates to play in select tournaments, the winter program gives players extra games and practices to get a head start on the following spring season.

The U13 Winter RiverCats are a separate team from the summer RiverCats at this age level, but will contain players who compete for both.  For those who do not play a winter sport, or for those who are serious about baseball year round, this is a perfect opportunity to play competitive baseball.

The U13 Winter RiverCats will play a 3 tournament schedule in 2010, competing in both the southern and southwestern United States.  The winter program has two hired, non-parent coaches, for each age level.  All coaches hired have collegiate and/or professional baseball experience.  This is an opportunity for the player to develop skills taught to them by those who have played from the highest levels of baseball.
