“The RiverCats and Rays has been a great experience for me.  I’ve been able to play at a very high level of baseball all over the United States, and that is why I am where I am today.  This program provides players with the opportunity to maximize their abilities and really set goals and try to achieve them.  You are put around a tremendous group of people with tons of experience and people who want you to have success.

This program not only provides everything you need to reach your goals and play at a high level, but it also gives you many opportunities to meet new people and form relationships that will last the rest of your life.  I am very thankful that I have been able to be a part of such a high-class organization for so long.  It has really helped me mature as a baseball player and also as a person.

John-

I was able to witness firsthand last fall the dedication you have to the organization, and I wanted to thank you for including Will in the Rays’ program.  He will be leaving for Concordia-Chicago in a few weeks, and Coach Spiro from CU first saw Will when he was playing for the Rays at Standard Bank.  Will’s time with the Rays definitely benefited him during the recruiting process, and he still speaks of how much he enjoyed playing for you and Max, and he also still keeps in touch with some of the players from that team.  He was able to find the situation that best suited what he wanted from his collegiate baseball experience (he actually turned down a few D-II scholarship offers), and he is extremely excited about his future at CU.

The Rays’ provide an excellent opportunity for high school players that have hopes of playing collegiately an opportunity to continue to develop, while also getting exposure to college coaches.
