Academy Instructors

The GRB Academy uses instructors of the utmost quality and character.  Part of our past success is due to the great instructors we have interacting, coaching, advising, and working with the players who come to our camps.  The following coaches coach at the academy along with Greg Reinhard:

Aaron Guilbault - Catching and Hitting Instructor

guilbyGuilbault is the catching and hitting coordinator for the academy based on his ability to teach the two areas where he excelled as a collegiate player at UW-Whitewater.  Guilbault was a three year starting catcher for the Warhawks, and capped off his career by leading them to the 2005 Division III National Championship.  During that year, Guilbault showed off both at the plate, and behind it.  As a hitter, Guilbault hit a robust .375 with 11 HR’s and 57 RBI’s in 192 at bats.  Behind the plate, he threw out 46% of runners attempting to steal.  For the 2005 season, Guilbault was selected to the 1st team All-WIAC, and 2nd team All-Midwest Region teams.  This is Aaron’s 3rd year working with players from the area.

Aaron DottPitching

dottDott was a selection in the 2009 MLB Amateur Draft by the Tampa Bay Rays in the 31st round.  Dott, a LHP from Green Lake, WI, left UW-Whitewater having the 2nd highest strikeout total for a career and 7th in E.R.A. for a career.  He was a 1st team All-WIAC selection in 2008 and 2009, along with a 1st team All-Midwest Region in 2009.  Dott finished his first year playing for the Hudson Valley Renegades, the Short Season Single A team for the Rays.

Aaron helps all pitchers, but brings a specialty of teaching left handed pitchers to the Academy.  This is Aaron’s 2nd year at the Academy.
