GRB Academy
The Greg Reinhard Baseball Academy started in February of 2007 with 13 players looking to spend some time together
working on pitching and advancing their knowledge beyond the traditional type of baseball camp. After receiving several compliments on the way the workout sessions went, head instructor Greg Reinhard decided to again have the sessions the next year and expand to having catching and hitting sessions with former U!-Whitewater catcher Aaron Guilbault. From those first two years, the GRB Academy has built itself into one of the most thorough and detail orientated workout camps for the serious baseball player.
Besides the workout sessions offered by the academy, each year we find ourselves offering the player and area teams a little more. In the past four years we have created the opportunity for individual instruction during different times of the year, team camps at the location desired by the team, weekend camps in different parts of the state, agility and explosion training with a collegiate strength coach, and high school team training.
It is our philosophy to use a multiple session format to instill and train the body to use the skills learned, rather than forget them once the camp or sessions are over. We also use instructors who have found their level of play to either be in the professional or college ranks. We do this so parents and players can know their time training with us will also be using the skills, techniques, and training drills that are used at the next level. Finally, we strive to have the lowest player to coach ratio of any camp or academy around. It is normal for us to have a player to coach ratio or 3:1 or less in everything we do. Developing personal relationships with our players allows us to help them prepare to be the best baseball player they can be.
